Astorino is a medium size multi-discipline design firm from Pittsburgh, PA. They engaged Equinet in 2009 to undertake plan/documents review for the Cooper Hall Science Building at the University of Pittsburgh, a project they were designing. The Equinet review allowed Astorino to correct all the conflicts and errors prior to release of the drawings to the General Contractor. This saved the company money in terms of responding to RFIs and avoiding potential claims.

Equinet provided design support, coordination drawings and shop drawings for KBR on the US Embassy Macedonia Project in 2007/08. KBR’s engineering division engaged Equinet to undertake design completion drawings under their supervision after it was determined that the 100% ME&P design drawings were insufficient.

Benoy is an international firm of Architects, Master planners, Interior and Graphic Designers with offices in the UK, Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi. Equinet provides support in design completion, detailing and interior design.

The drafting work entailed detailing various construction phases such as steel frames, concrete beams, walls and finishes, floor finishes, electromechanical services, temporary walls, signage installation and others.

Fena Water Treatment Plant Upgrade – US Naval Facility, Guam

Scope:

• Scope of work includes : Development of Shop drawings and coordination drawings; detailing structural, mechanical and architectural plans.
  
• The project was carried out in 2005 - 2006 and completed ahead of schedule. The total project value of the Fena Water Treatment project upgrade was $16 million.
